After burning out in the corporate world, living the FIFO life for 16 years, feeling failed by the Western medical system, trying to navigate a conscious relationship, and being a Dad (and Step-Mum) of 3 ourselves, we understand how hard it can feel to find regulation in the chaos of life.

The constant modern busy-ness and an increasing list of responsibilities have left us all living in survival mode for too long.

It can feel exhausting and at times overwhelming, but like you, we wanted to expand our nervous system’s capacity to hold more in this life.

How Breathwork Can Help You Show Up Differently

Discovering breathwork has allowed us to start to unwind the accumulated stored stress and tension in our nervous system, given us confidence to find our own voices, and ultimately show up differently for the ones we love.

And yes, while breathing is an automatic function, when we start to breathe consciously a new way of relating to the world becomes possible.

This practice has helped us realise what was really holding us back, and we’re excited to be sharing this with you along with some different breathwork styles and techniques we’ve learned over the course of the weekend.

Around the same time, we were approached by Samphire Hotel (set to be the wellness destination in Perth this winter), who asked if we’d be interested in running an overnight retreat, and it was a full-body YES from us.

A whole weekend of breathwork and community that’ll leave you feeling rejuvenated, reconnected to yourself and others, and supported enough to finally clear that big block that’s been holding you back – all in just 2 days (no leave request required).

The Not-So-Fine-Print

We trust you to make the right decision. In the event of a cancellation within 14 days, a $375 fee will be applied. Cancellation within 7 days full payment will be forfeited. Should cancellation relate to a medical emergency within the 14 day period, a medical certificate will be required and we are happy to credit your stay for a future Regulate Your State Retreat. In the event of ferry cancellations we will gladly credit your stay for a future Regulate Your State retreat.

FAQ’s

What happens next after I book?

You’ll receive an email confirmation of your booking and you can start packing for your weekend away! We’ll be in touch via email with further details about dietary requirements and ferry times the week before departure, along with an invoice for the remaining balance required by Monday 20 May.

What meals are included?

A healthy family dinner by Samphire Chef Quim will be served on Saturday evening and a continental breakfast buffet will be provided on Sunday morning. You will need to either purchase or bring along your own lunches, but you will have access to healthy snacks, tea, coffee, sparkling/still water and freshly squeezed juices across the two days.

How much free time will I have over the two days?

There will be approximately 7 hours of free time spread across the two days for you to relax and explore Rottnest. There will be 2 x two-hour breaks and from 12:30pm on the Sunday you will be free to explore the island before your ferry back around 4:30pm.

Can I make a booking for a couple?

Yes. If you and your partner are wanting to book please email casey@regulateyourstate.com.au and secure your places with two deposits.

Can I extend my stay?

Yes! For an extra soft landing Samphire are extending a $250 per night discounted rate for retreat attendees on the Friday 24 May and Sunday 26 May (no inclusions although ferries can be arranged accordingly).
